The majority of people are extremely friendly and helpful despite any language barrier there may be, as long as you are polite, greet them with a smile and try your best.

Betty is a warm person. I felt at home every day. She also helped me improve my Spanish skills, as we talked about certain topics over and over again while eating.

All the staff in Cordoba were welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. It was easy to contact them through WhatsApp and email with any questions.

I enjoyed the social aspects the most. There were quite a few other volunteers there at the same time as me who I got on really well with.

I enjoyed the socials arranged by the co-ordinators where I was able to meet fellow volunteers. I also enjoyed meeting many local citizens during my placement and learning about their lives.
